My name is Jade and I founded 'Freedom From Thought' as a result of many pivotal life moments that changed the way I experienced life. Over the years I became more attuned to this way of living, and I knew that it was something to be shared.

Many of us suffer as a result of believing that the thoughts that enter our mind define who we are. Thoughts such as negative self-talk, thoughts we are ashamed to share, repetitive thoughts, reliving the past, or imagining what people think of us. Most of our thoughts are not chosen consciously by us, even though they seem to be, but are created from the memory of past experiences. You can see this simply by trying not to think for a minute. Through correct practice, we begin to separate ourselves from our thoughts, and recognise where they come from. This practice has been life-changing for me.

Training & Experience

2006 - 2016

Sales & Recruitment

Travelling

I worked in Sales and Recruitment for most of my young adult life, funding my deepest desire which was to travel the world and live abroad. I always had itchy feet for something more, and I lived for new experiences. I spent many years seeing other countries and learning from different ways of living. I settled in London in 2012 and began working as a Pharmaceutical Recruiter.

2016 - 2020

Travelling & Living Abroad
Volunteer in Animal Rescue Centre, Costa Rica

After the death of a close friend in 2016, I was shaken. I left my well paid London job and I followed my desire to work with animals, see more of the world, and immerse myself in the Spanish language in Latin America. I spent the next 4 years learning about Indigenous medicines such as Ayahuasca and Kambo, specifically around their healing and therapeutic benefits. I also took part in many courses,  workshops and retreats, learning about consciousness and the psyche, meditation, spirituality, and of course, my own little universe.

2020-2025

Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (Level 4 - Distinction awarded) Apprenticeship and experience.

Finally, I returned home and could not go back to a usual 9-5 job. I continued my work with Indigenous medicines between the UK and Europe. I worked care roles with the elderly in their homes, with end of life patients in a hospice, and I joined an apprenticeship scheme working across 2 children's care homes as a child care practitioner.
